SKIN TYPES
#1- Normal skin type has the right amount of oil and moisture with small pores and very few acne breakouts.
#2- Oily skin type has excessive oil (sebum) production, which appears shiny, greasy with large pores and commonly experiences acne breakouts and blackheads (open comedones). Prone to acne scars is not treated.
#3- Dry skin type is lacking oil (sebum). It appears thin, flaky with premature fine lines and small/ invisible pores. Can become sensitive, tight and itchy. Prone to premature wrinkles is not treated.
COMBINATION SKIN TYPES (most common)
#4- Normal-Dry- is normal over T-zone and lacking oil (sebum) production on cheeks, with a tight itchy feeling.
#5- Normal-Oily- is normal on cheeks with excessive oil production (sebum), large pores and thicker skin on T-zone.
*Dry= lacking oil/sebum production.
*Dehydrated= lacking water/moisture in skin, and is considered a skin condition, not a skin type.
